Willmar Winter Classic Men’s Basketball Tournament 
This tournament has been going on for 30 plus years. It continues to be a highly competitive tournament with many participants being former college basketball players. There is only one level of play for this tournament and all games take place at the Willmar Senior High School. The tournament typically takes place on the 3rd or 4th Saturday in January (depending on gym availability).
 
 
Willmar Winter Classic Women’s Volleyball Tournament                                    
This tournament has been going on for 30 plus years. It offers three different levels of competition to fit the types of all volleyball players. The levels include Power 1, Power 2, and Semi Power with all games of the tournament taking place at the City Auditorium and Roosevelt Elementary School. The tournament typically takes place on the first week in March.
 
 
Willmar Fests Men’s Softball Tournament
 
This will be the second year back of a long standing tradition of Willmar. The Willmar Fests tournament (previously named the Coffee Fest tournament) will take place on the Saturday of Willmar Fests. This tournament will be a double elimination tournament with a 0-2 bracket on Sunday. The tournament will pay out $2,000 and is sponsored by the Lakes Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. For this year’s registration information please click here.

 

Willmar Fests CO-Ed Grass Volleyball Tournament

 

This will be the first year of this tournament. It will include pool play followed by a double elimination tournament with an 0-2 bracket. The tournament will be paying out $1000 is cash prizes with $400 to first, $215 to second, $150 to third, and $125 to fourth. The 0-2 bracket winner will also recieve $110. All games will be played at the North Swansson Athletic Complex. The tournament is sponsored by the Lakes Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
